The builder's perspective
I've spent 18 years as a broker and entrepreneur. It taught me the same lesson over and over: systems win. Ad-hoc processes lose.
In 2023, I watched the businesses I worked in scramble to adopt AI. Same pattern every time: initial excitement, then chaos. ChatGPT everywhere. Nobody measuring impact. Compliance questions going unanswered. Teams using AI without confidence.
I built Versantly because there's a gap between “AI awareness” and “AI capability.” A lot of training stops at theory, and a lot of consulting sells ongoing retainers. Neither builds sustainable systems inside your team.
Versantly does both. We train people to use AI, not just understand it. We design systems that measure impact. We build compliance into the foundation, not as an afterthought. And we transfer ownership to your team — because the moment we leave, the work should continue.
Build or don't certify
Our certification is earned by demonstrating practical capability across three dimensions: Prompt Engineering (can you communicate with AI effectively?), AI Thinking (can you use AI to solve real business problems?), and AI Knowledge (do you understand the core concepts?). Pass the assessment and you earn the credential — no participation trophies, you certify because you can demonstrate it in practice. It is a non-accredited professional development credential, not a nationally recognised qualification under the AQF.
